Display       : PAL&   This  is  a  slideshow  of about 24&digitized  pictures taken from the Cry&For  Dawn  comics.  I  don't  normally&include  digitized  slideshows  in the&reviews  as  copyright  may  have been&infringed  but I'm reviewing these two&disks  as  written  in  the credits is&"Thanks  to  C.F.D Productions for the&use  of  their artwork". From that I'm&assuming  the  disks'  compiler,  Jake&Roberts,  has gained permission to use&the  pictures.  The  address  of C.F.D
  26. Productions is also included.&   It  doesn't  surprise  me  that the&comics'  producers   would   allow   a&slideshow  to  be made as many viewers&will  seek them out after seeing these&pictures.  All  the  fantasy  art seen&here  is  superbly  drawn. Dawn, who I&assume  is  the  buxom lady shown here&and not the daily event we mortals are&more  used to, is displayed in and out&of  a  wide range of various costumes.&There's  nothing too explicit but some&of  the poses are, shall we say, a bit
  27. suggestive.&   The mostly grey-scale digitising is&all  very  well  done,  as are the few&colour  pictures - Dawn's a redhead it&would  seem.  Jake  Roberts  has  also&written  the  music  to  go  with  the&slideshow  which,  like  the   subject&matter,   is   suitably   moody    and
  28. atmospheric.&   Dawn  unfortunately  only  seems to&have  about  three  facial expressions&and  the  bits of text shown here, all&to  do  with  fear  and  terror,  lays&everything  on with a trowel. Such are&fantasy  comics. Well drawn though and&way  better than the war comics I gave&up  on  as a child, turning instead to
  29. Walt Disney.&   If  you're  a fan of fantasy art or&comics  but  haven't  yet seen Cry For&Dawn  then  this  slideshow would be a
  30. very good sampler.
